Celso Cintra

Born in 1969, iniciated your musical studies at the age of nine whem played trumpet in the school band, playing after trombone and bariton too.
Ingresses in 1989 at the Municipal Music School of São Paulo where studied trumpet and bel-canto to the 1994; also studied at this time guitar and electric guitar in a self-taught way.
Graduated in Composition and Conducts by UNESP (University of the State of São Paulo) in 1996.
Works in music since 1988, with the pop groups Dórios (besides Edu Penha) and Campo Sagrado, songwriting, singing and playing electric guitar.
Prized, in 1991, with the 2nd place in the "1º Concurso Nacional de Composição para Contrabaixo" fomented by the "ABC - Associação Brasileira de Contrabaixistas" (Bass and Double-bass players Brazilian Association), with the music "Andando no Fio da Navalha" (Walking in the Edge of the Blade) to double-bass quartet.
In 1993, creates besides Edu Penha, the "art rock" group ANACONDA that participated in the CD "Brasil Alternativo 7" and was "destaque do mês" (month distinction) in the Spotlight session of the 19 edition from Brazilian Guitar Player, and than will becomes the Duo
ANACONDA.
Realizes in 1996-97 at the PANaroma Studio in São Paulo the eletroacoustic music "Nuages" (for solo tape using just glass sounds) that are in the CD "Música Maximalista Maximal Music Vol. 3: Studio PANaroma Works 1994-97", and makes its world avant-premiere in november 1997 at the event called "Música Contemporânea" (Contemporary Music) fomented by USP - Universidade de São Paulo (University of São Paulo), and its quadraphonic version played at the 2nd BIMESP - Bienal Internacional de Música Eletroacústica de São Paulo - fomented by PANaroma - Studio de Música Eletroacústica da UNESP/FASM.
In 1997 forms besides Luciano Garcez and Edu Penha the Ronca Fulô group to research and play folk and regional music of the Brazil, iniciates yet in 1997 your percussion studies.
In june 1998, plays like percussionist and actor of the theatral play "A Inconveniência de Ter Coragem" by Ariano Suassuna, that represented the Communications and Arts School of the USP in the EXPO'98 in Lisbon - Portugal.
In august 1999, plays like percussionist at the group of the indian singer Meeta Ravindra on SESC-Pompéia-SP-Brasil, about the book's release "Mahatma Gandhi" autobiography.
Actuate from the beginning of the 1998 like composer, percussionist and singer of the Duo ANACONDA, besides Edu Penha.
